The machine series MMF was developed particularly for the model, prototype and mould making. High structure rigidity was the centre of attention thereby this results from the solid structure:
Z-axis centrically mounted on the X-axis
The driven nuts of the ball screw spindles provide quiet running and high procedure dynamics. The assembly is very simple by the freely standing milling table.
Equipped with a rotary swivelling unit as 4th and 5th axis the MMF is suitable optimally for the five-axis-treatment and milling large volume work pieces made of e.g. GFK and CFK. The powerful spindle ES915 with SK30 clamps permits a clamping of tools with a diameter of 20mm.
The carried 5-times tool changer, mounted on the portal can be supplemented optionally by 5 further tool storages.
The combination of functions like e.g. jerk control, speed and acceleration pilot control, Look ahead path control and carrying of tool orientation, permits best technology utilization and adjustment to changing requirements, to speed, accuracy and surface quality.
